What Trump Rally? Global Stocks, Bonds Shrug Off Election
President-elect Donald Trump’s victory failed to deliver a rally for stocks and bonds worldwide, according to Cullen Roche, founder of Orcam Financial Group. Roche cited the lack of direction for a group of four Vanguard exchange-traded funds, each weighted by the underlying assets’ share of global markets, since the Nov. 8 election. “The world basically woke up, saw the Trump win, said ‘eh’ and went about its business,” he wrote in a posting Monday on his Pragmatic Capitalism blog.
