HP Times Two Pays Off as Stocks Beat S&P 500 Post-Breakup
Hewlett-Packard Co.’s split into two companies a year ago is paying off for shareholders. Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co., a seller of corporate computers, has the third-biggest gain among the S&P 500 Index’s technology stocks since the separation was completed. HP Inc., a maker of personal computers and printers, has risen more than the S&P 500 and its technology index.
