Biggest Brexit-Based Stock Moves Seen Outside U.K. Market
The outcome of the U.K.’s referendum on whether to abandon the European Union may affect stocks more in continental Europe than in Britain, according to UBS Group AG. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index is poised to fall as much as 23 percent on a “Leave” decision and rise as much as 15 percent if the “Remain” side wins, based on estimates cited in a report Tuesday. Comparable projections for the U.K.’s FTSE 100 Index are 19 percent and 7 percent, respectively.
